The Diamond Crown Humidification System (DCHS.) Why you need it: Cigar tobacco when properly stored (like unbottled wine) continues to live, breathe and age.
To continue the process of ageing cigars, cigars need to be maintained in a temperature range of 68°-74° and in a humidity range of 68-75 percent of moisture. When cigars become too dry they tend to burn and taste hot. When cigars become too moist, they are difficult to keep lit and burn unevenly. In either case, the cigars fail to age properly and if ignored long enough you have lost a very expensive cigar investment.
